A couple weeks ago we decided to have "Family Day"! We kept it a surprise from the kids which made it more fun. We took the train in to the City and hopped in a cab en route to the Field Museum. The kids loved walking around and seeing all of the exhibits. I think that the family favorite was the exhibit about natural disasters. We saw and learned about many recent events including Hurricane Katrina, the Tsunami and the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. The Earthquake part was too close to home for us because we lived in the epicenter of that one! After the museum we walked to "Millenium Park" and the kids played in the giant fountain. After a crazy cab ride and train ride we were back home. It was such a fun day being together.
P.S. If you've never been to Chicago, you should come for a visit!

Great pictures!
Soowan will be in Chicago next week... although he'll be working and not frolicking around the city.
Sounds like fun. We visited Mark and Elena once and had a great time at the pier. Hopefully we will catch you next time you come for a visit. I hope you are enjoying your summer.
